Our heritage

Aggarwal Clinic was founded in 1981 by the late Padma Shri Prof Dr N D Aggarwal, to offer advanced orthopaedic care in a homely environment. Prof Dr Rajeev Aggarwal, now the clinic’s Director, spent his career teaching and operating at Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, where he retired as Professor and Head of Orthopaedics, and built the clinic into what it is today.

Over the years the clinic added an Obstetrics and Gynaecology wing, led by Dr Sarita Aggarwal. Laboratory tests are done in partnership with Advanced Diagnostics, a pathology laboratory led by Dr Azmat Kaur Sandhu. General and laparoscopic surgery is offered in partnership with surgeons from Patiala.

Today, orthopaedic care at the clinic is led by Dr Aditya Aggarwal, orthopaedic surgeon, who sees patients for knee and sports injuries, ACL and arthroscopy, and fracture and trauma care.
