The clinic’s surgical tradition
Aggarwal Clinic was founded in 1981 by Padma Shri Dr N D Aggarwal. Prof Dr Rajeev Aggarwal, Consultant Bone, Joint & Spine Surgeon, spent his career teaching and operating at Government Medical College and Rajindra Hospital, Patiala, where he retired as Professor and Head of Orthopaedics. Alongside that work, he built Aggarwal Clinic into what it is today, and generations of Patiala’s doctors and patients know him for it. Today the clinic also houses an Obstetrics & Gynaecology wing led by Dr Sarita Aggarwal, Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist, and Advanced Diagnostics, a fully automated pathology laboratory led by Dr Azmat Kaur Sandhu, Consultant Pathologist. Orthopaedic care, women’s health and laboratory tests are under one roof on The Mall.
